Homebuyer's Report or Homebuyer's Valuation

An inspection report which is not as all-inclusive as a full structural survey, but is more detailed than a basic valuation. A report is sent to the borrower in which the condition of the property or premises is detailed, pointing out any repairs that may be necessary. The appraised current market value of the house is also denoted in the report.
